Biography About Me

My name is Jacob Brodbeck. This is my first time making a blog or even seeing one. So with the others in the future, please bare with me. I'm from a town just south of Austin, Texas called Buda, Texas. There is not a whole lot to do there except go to the park and skate park that just opened up. I'm currently enrolled in West Texas A&M University and currently on the bowling team here. I've been bowling for more than ten years now and I'm improving every day, month, and year. My dad has been teaching me since I was young. Now I have two coaches. My dad and the school bowling coach. My average is a 183 right now and my highest game bowled is a 289, 11 pins away from perfection.

Before I came to college, I was a really good bowler for my league, in tournaments, and in team competitions. I would travel with my league to a tournament and all of us will work together to make it to state. We did and came in third place. In tournaments by myself, I really excelled. Some I got first in, some in places where I still get scholarship money, one I got on an all state team, (etc.). In other tournaments I went to that were out of state, I surprised everybody. I wont get into to much detail, but lets just say that I come in with a low average and bowl really good. But college bowling is different. I'm still getting use to it with the patterns they put out there and working on everything else about how I bowl. But I know next semester, I will travel with the team to my first college tournament ever. I don't consider my self an expert in anything yet that applies to the real world. I just consider myself an expert in video games that I play. 

My hobbies include drawing random stuff in a sketch book sometimes, watching videos on my laptop, and playing pool in my dorm lobby. What I enjoy about my hobbies is that when I do them, it kills some time so that the end of the day comes faster and whatever I have planned the next day can come along and I can do the event. Examples of that are bowling leagues, watching any type of sport, going on a trip to somewhere and lots of other stuff as well. 

The subject that I like the most is math. I've been really good at math since elementary school and up till now. Teachers in the past would say I was a math wiz and it was true because I averaged a ninety or above in that class. Math is just stuck in my head. It can be any type of math. Science problems, algebra problems are the best kind I am best with. The process just stays in my head when I see how to do it. Then it takes me a very limited time to solve the problem. Depending on how long the problem is and how long the process to complete it is. I have no issues or problems that I feel passionate about right now. But that can all change in the future. 

No offence to any other blogger out there, but I would like to know more about blogs. Whats the point of them? Like I said before, this is my first time blogging and I don't know if I understand blogging yet. Throughout the semester, I hope I will understand what the point of blogs are. I hope I didn't offend any blogger out there.
